• Lead a team of RF engineers and direct their activities to design and optimize given market area
• Perform link budget analysis, understand and utilize design criteria including coverage and traffic analysis
• Ensure data integrity of various morphology/topography databases and drive testing data for model tuning and calibration
• Perform nominal and detailed RF design, including site selection and site acquisition support
• Perform technical site survey
• Analyze and recommend equipment and antenna co-location requirements for different technologies
• Perform site build verification and acceptance
• Create site data-fills to support site integration
• Undertake network optimization and performance improvement tasks to achieve predefined key performance indicators (KPI)
• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or Computer Science
• Five years work experience in RF network design and optimization
• LTE technology understanding and know-how
• LTE design and optimization experience is a plus

Must have Ericsson 3G (UMTS) experience and Nortel 2G (GSM) performance and optimization experience. Should also have experience leading teams in the past

7: UMTS Design Engineer (Atoll/Trident): Location: Detroit, MI
Experience RF engineer with at least 2 years UMTS design experience with Atoll and Trident.

8: UMTS Optimization Engineer and SME (UTRAN/Ericsson): locations Alabama, Mississippi or Louisiana.
High level RF engineer with strong Ericsson end to End UMTS optimization and performance experience.

9: UMTS Optimization with NSN equipment –Location: Toronto, CA
Senior engineer with Pre and post launch UMTS optimization experience on NSN equipment

Provide design and optimization for WIMAX network in various US markets. Must be familiar with the use of WiMAX tools including Windcatcher

Perform design and optimization of WiMAX network in the mid-atlantic region

Minimum four (4) years of RF Engineering experience. Minimum two years of recent experience in radio network design, implementation and tuning/optimization on WCDMA systems. Experience in working with different RAB services - CS, PS, HSDPA. Understanding of signalling in between different interface specially Uu, Iub, Iur, Iu-C and Iu-P. Able to make recommendations in parameter changes, feature activations on drive test data to improve the system performance. • Good understanding of optimization tools such as TEMS, Actix, Agilent Experience in tuning a loaded network, and understand the difference between artificial and real traffic loading • Good understanding of Layer 3 messaging • Able to collect and analyze drive data and performance statistics • Knowledge on how IRAT procedures can affects the overall performance General • Proficient with MapInfo, MS Office • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to operate with high degree of independence, while managing project and customer expectations • Ability to identify and interpret customer requirements, and develop plans to address them • Ability to provide training and guidance to less experienced RF engineers

Must be expert in the use of the Pathloss4 microwave planning tool. Should also be proficient in the use of mapping tools such as MapInfo and ToPo. It is also essential to have a good customer focus, be a confident and clear communicator with a tidy style and affable personality. Previous experience of working on large Backhaul projects would be an advantage.
