ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
Thirty-Six (36) Months Plus Experience in RF Engineering
Sound Experience in Wireless Network Planning
Experience with two (2), or More, Technologies such as LTE, WiMAX, 1xEVDO, 1xRTT, CDMA, UMTS, GSM and iDEN
One (1) Year, or more, of Experience Working with Mentum Planet EV and/or Forsk Atoll Tools
Experience in LTE Design

Candidates must have Layer 2 design experience. Switching fundamentals – Address learning, Forward/Filter decisions, Loop avoidance Ethernet family standards Spanning tree protocol and Loop avoidance Protocols Ethernet Switching Protection mechanisms VLAN concept, Trunking and trunking protocols, LAG and LACP QoS in Ethernet Carrier Ethernet – “Q n Q”, provider’s bridge Ethernet switch configuration and troubleshooting Router configuration Access Control Lists – concept, types and configuration WAN protocols and configuration IP addressing, IPv4 sub-netting QoS mechanisms at IP level.

TTS Wireless, Inc. has requirements of UMTS Optimization Experienced engineers for 6 month project in Mexico. Only candidates who are citizens of US, Canada and Mexico will be considered at this point of time.

1) Optimization Mentor: An engineer specifically with UMTS knowledge,a track record working within the operator environment and investigating network issues and recommending changes to parameters and network configuration e.g. tilts and azimuths. The engineer will be “tool savvy” and have experience working with a variety of drive test/radio planning tools, excel etc and be able to self-learn a new product like ariesoGEO. Individual will be expected to work closely with customer engineers, mentoring them and assisting them to get results using the ariesoGEO product – the engineer should have strong customer facing and interpersonal skills to facilitate this.

2) Optimization Expert: An engineer with 5+ years of UMTS experience. Detailed knowledge of layer 3 messages and an ability to be able to investigate and trouble shoot detailed issues such as relationships on IuR. The engineer should have strong experience with E/// UMTS equipment and knowledge of configuring and running scripts on the OSS. Again customer facing skills are key. The optimization expert is also likely to become responsible for defining processes to be adopted using the ariesoGEO product and therefore should be able to logically break down an existing process understand where ariesoGEO adds value and then re-document and create appropriate collateral to communicate the process to the broader customer team.

We are anticipating the following locations: Tijuana, Hermosillo, Chihuahua, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Queretaro, Puebla, Merida, Mexico City

Starting 1st week of January. Need 6 total, 2 in Mexico City, other 4 shared across rest of regions (would have 2 regions per person).
