Provide leadership in the technical, marketing and strategic formulation of core network product line planning process based on customer requirements, marketing research, standard specifications and competitive analysis. Work within the marketing & product management team to develop a product roadmap and create a targeted strategy to support the effort of driving new business opportunities for NGN and IMS solutions for existing and potential customers. Work with customers to determine customer\'s requirement and provide the solutions. This includes analyzing and responding to customers\' RFI/RFPs and making customer presentations of solutions; Work with internal teams, such as the standards, advanced technologies and development teams, to drive the solutions to customer\'s needs and to monitor industry trends in telecommunications networks, especially in mobile networks. The RF engineer should have proficiency using the Performance and Optimization tools like CAIT, Agilent, Actix, etc. Specific experience with Actix would be a plus.

The RF Engineer should be able to troubleshoot any issues with the drive test toolkits and support the drive teams remotely, and perform drive tests personally as needed.

The engineer should have good co-ordination skills to work with and direct the drive test teams as necessary, assist with the data collection and post processing and evaluation processes.

The candidate should have good knowledge about antenna engineering, and be able to Inspect/approve Antenna designs and identify any installation issues.

Should be familiar with the process to change translation parameters, check for alarms, and isolate network issues from RF issues.

Proficient with UNIX environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel is strongly desired.

Some basic programming skills such as excel macros, VBS, UNIX, and awk scripts to make bulk changes in translation parameters would be a strong plus.

Some basic knowledge of TDMA is required.

Based in Canada, we are seeking people for a new implementation project that is soon to enter phase one. The successful candidate will have 3 years RF Design experience and optimization capabilities. Experience of working with Alcatel Lucent or NSN equipment would be advantageous.

This role would require a GSM, CDMA and Wimax based background

* Project Management experience- ability to track deployment, modify or upgrade existing sites.

This position is to be the Principal lead in the RI market on a design and opto CDMA/EVDO project, around 240 sites but expanding,.

This deployment is very fast paced and we need candidates that thrive in that kind of environment.

I currently seek a Microwave Design Engineer who has worked on Microwave network backhaul architectures, including ownership of link budgets, link availability planning and link redundancy/diversity strategies. You will manage the outsourced vendors to support microwave designs in all new markets, this includes conducting detailed design reviews and audits to ensure that all network objectives are fulfilled, and tracking project status against plan and modifying designs for licensed microwave bands (11, 18, 23 GHz) and unlicensed bands (5.8, 5.4, and 24 GHz), Pathloss knowledge is needed for this role. LTE RF Engineer


Responsibilities:
The senior wireless engineer will be responsible for defining tools and programs to conduct analysis and benchmark testing of wireless networks.
The candidate will be responsible for defining the Metrics specification for validating and benchmarking network performance and end user experience.
The candidate will participate in defining and sourcing software tools for network planning and optimization, data collection, post-processing and performance monitoring.
The candidate will also participate in investigating the wireless network issues of the carrier networks and customer meeting for any engineering design issues.
