Accountable for all Civil Works and associated financial control via Scheduling (time), SP/ASP and Quality Management on a given project. • Ensure his team has access to the proper expertise, tools and resources to engineer client’s wireless core network and service platforms, including the following activities:
• Engineer the core network architecture including MSC-S, RNC, HLR, EIR, AUC, MGW, SGSN, GGSN, IMS, Application nodes and other related network elements.
• Integrate, interconnect, test and commission network elements in order to achieve full functionality.
• Perform dimensioning of core network elements and service platforms based on market forecast.
• Participate in core equipment selection & evaluation

• Provide tier 3 level support to the Switch Operations group acting as a liaison to the vendor(s)
• Support the Radio Network Engineering group in the implementation and optimization of access related BSS features having a configuration impact on the core network.
• Perform traffic studies and conduct core network equipment forecasting.

Qualifications:

• Conduct field surveys & site evaluations for all potential wireless access sites.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be responsible for all technical aspects and implementation of our client’s roaming agreements. S/he will take part in the roaming agreement negotiation process in a support role to the legal department ensuring the technical aspects of proposed roaming agreements are understood and will take part in the implementation and operations of roaming agreements from a technical standpoint after contract agreements are signed.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and engineering of the client’s Value Added Services (VAS) and Support Systems nodes (OTA, BGW) for the wireless network. S/he will evaluate the network and cost impacts of potential new service offerings.
