We are currently seeking a Customer Support Engineer GSM/EDGE - BSS for a 3 to 6 month assignment in the Dallas area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide engineering support for ex Nokia Network element for 2G BSC, BTS deployment and Customer Care as projects Support during implementation, FOA, Care Projects phase for 2G deployments.

KEY TASKS

1. Commissioning, integrating, System verification & acceptance and troubleshooting for ex Nokia 2G BSC. Develop and maintain 2G BSC project competence, process, and documents for network deployment.

2. Provide technical support to projects to troubleshoot and resolve issues, escalations from project and overall responsible for the 2G network element technical Issue handling.

3. Organize and participate in pilot, FOA, SW/ CD deployment, Software and new feature verification, MOP generation as well as test case creation- execution.

4. Provide support to customers for operations and maintenance of i-HSPA elements including competence transfer to customer’s operations teams for local and remote operations and maintenance tasks.

5. Serve as local customer interface and coordinate communication for services and issues between customer market teams and NSN service lines.

6. Supports operations services such as traffic rehomes, network retunes, feature activations, network modification and Performance analysis.

7. Support Customer Lab for SW/ HW New Feature verification and validation.

8. Ensure quality customer satisfaction survey targets and carry end to end RAN support function

Nokia 2G BSC and BTS product/engineering experience needed.
